Actor Jonah Hill has seen success as a director in the film industry, his comedy-drama Mid90s and documentary into Hill’s life Stutz have been met with praise from reviewers and critics.
Currently, Hill is heading back to the director’s chair for the feature film Outcome, with Keanu Reeves starring as the main character.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, an actress is being cast to play alongside Reeves, with one of the names being discussed being Cameron Diaz (Bad Teacher and Shrek).
The dark comedy film, which is being developed by Apple Studios, will focus on Reeves as a Hollywood star who has to confront and make amends with his past after a mysterious video clip from his past surfaces.
However, it is unknown where Diaz would exactly fit into the film’s plot if she were to sign on.
This film would be a part of Diaz’s return to the big screen, as the actress hasn’t been in a film in almost a decade. Hill is also set to star in Outcome, but just like with Diaz, it is unknown how exactly his character will fit into the plot.
The film will be produced by Strong Baby Productions, which Hill is a part of along with Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin. It is unknown when the film will begin shooting or when it will be released.
