2011 TV series Teen Wolf has now been turned into a feature film Teen Wolf: The Movie. The film brings back original cast members of the tv show such as: Tyler Posey, Shelley Hennig, Colton Haynes and Tyler Hoechlin.
The movie is written and produced by Jeff Davis, Teen Wolf: The Movie is a revival of the tv series. The movie sets on the return of the wolfpack, Scott McCall played by Tyler Posey, and his not so dead lover Allison Argent played by Crystal Reed.
The trailer, which was released during Sunday’s Teen Wolf: The Movie and Wolf Pack panel at Comic Con Experience in Sao Paulo, shows McCall and the other shapeshifters returning to Beacon Hills after a terrifying new evil emerges. McCall is no longer a teenager, but he’s still an alpha and a challenger to the flock. “I’m still standing. I’m still an alpha,” says Posey’s character in the trailer.
Reed’s character Argent was also featured throughout the trailer, which may come as a surprise to fans as her character was allegedly killed off in Teen Wolf season 3. With Argent’s help, McCall summons banshees, war coyotes, hellhounds, foxes, trusted allies, and new friends to help them fight one of the most powerful and deadly foes they’ve faced.
Directed by Russell Mulcahy, the film comes 12 years after Teen Wolf premiered on MTV, where it ran for six seasons. Teen Wolf: The Movie is set to premiere on Paramount+ on January 26.
