Cinedigm is picking the film rights to Stephen King’s famous scarcely clown Pennywise to be featured in a documentary about creating King’s iconic character. According to Deadline, the film premiered at Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival in Spain and had its UK premiere at FrightFest in October. Co-directed by John Campopiano from Unearth & Untold: The Path to Pet Sematary and Christopher Griffiths from Leviathan: The Story of Hellraiser will discuss the development of Pennywise the clown, they will also discuss creating IT films with the cast, production team, and practical effects.
Pennywise: The Story Of IT was created by Gary Smart, John Campopiano, Adam Evans, Michael Perez, Hank Starrs, Laurence Gornall, Brady William Dorman, Michael Leavy, and Jason Leavy.
