According to ScreenRant, Benedict Cumberbatch asked fans not to spoil Spider-Man: No Way Home. Cumberbatch reprises the role as Doctor Strange, a character he’s played in various MCU films, including Doctor Strange, Thor: Ragnarok, Avengers: Infinity War, Avengers: Endgame, and now Spider-Man: No Way Home. His next solo film Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is scheduled for release in 2022.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is the final chapter in MCU’s Homecoming trilogy, which features Spider-Man (Tom Holland) facing off multiple villains including Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), Doc Ock (Alfred Molina), and Electro (Jamie Foxx) after the multiverse is unleashed.
Spider-Man: No Way Home debuted this week and reviews have already flooded social media, but Cumberbatch has warned those who have already seen the film or plan to see it to not spot it for others. The 45-year-old actor spoke from the red carpet premiere, “Please try no to spoil it,” referring to how difficult it is given the size of the events that occur in the film. “It’s so hard. I know you want to tell all your friends about it. I get it,” Cumberbatch continued. “I’m not going to tell any of my friends about it, so can we do that together? Check out the full video below:
